In my shop we are seeing employees prefer getting our personalized help, out of their own pocket, over the limited talent management or outplacement programs their employers provide as free benefits. They’d rather get a whole new relationship to their career and employers – more ease, access, fulfilment, market worth, bargaining power, freedoms, and peace.  It’s all we do here.

Not all career help produces equal value. The best career help is systematic and brings you hundreds of thousands of extra dollars over time. Clients here have doubled and tripled their incomes in under a year. Low- or no-cost career advice doesn’t make problems stop; it just postpones them again till next time.  People find having expert advice and a system they adopt as their own is the real bargain. The hiring process is broken

From my vantage point, the hiring and promotion process is broken. Hoping an employer has an opening, and hoping you get it, is the tip of the iceberg for what can be done to make sure you have the right work (industry, role, format) for you at each time in your life, at the pay that reflects your value. To make the hiring process work out for you, you need to lead employers. Raise your career-self leadership game and gently, tastefully guide companies on how to utilize you. They don’t understand what your talents can produce for them unless you make a point of asking what is on the boss' mind, or plate, and say how you can take that headache away..
